Before creating InflectionPoint, founder and CEO Tylor Middlestadt built a successful career as both an at-risk construction general contractor and an owner’s representative managing all aspects of facilities construction & modernization programs for K-12 school districts.

He earned a reputation for effective team leadership, creative problem solving, and the uncanny ability to turn-the-tables on troubled projects to eliminate risks, recover losses and achieve seemingly impossible success under circumstances that many believed would lead to certain failure.

As a testament to his ability to generate exceptional project results, in 2017 Tylor was featured in Engineering News Record’s “Top 20 under 40 recognition for his dedication to creating systems to replicate successful outcomes using innovative program controls and collaborative team leadership strategies.

Tylor has proven leadership working for leading contractors, construction managers, major school districts, and government agencies, with involvement in more than $4B in construction projects throughout his career.

He’s passionate about creating inflection points for improving performance and outcomes (in work and life), and he believes that it requires building high-performing teams that bring both their genius and their hearts to their work responsibilities and relationships.

He strives to help each person to better understand their role and responsibilities, and their value to the team and the collective success of the project.
